The Lalitpur district administration has created it required for the administrator of WhatsApp teams surpass journalists to register with the data department. The order also contain an advisory for local news channels, web portals and publications. Those who fail to comply would face action under IT act,it said.
A joint order signed by district functionary Manvendra Singh and SP DrOP Singh aforementioned the admin of all media WhatsApp teams ought to submit a registration type to the data department workplace. The onepage registration form require the name, address(with proof) and adhaar of admin as well as the number of members of the group as on Aug 31,2018 along with the photo of group admin and his/her WhatsApp number.

The letter instruct the local police station to check whether the group admin has criminal record.
